| Exposure Data: | 10/5,6,11/2002. 2 x L(B)RGB: 12x5m, 4x5m,
4x5m,
4x7m, All 1x1. -15°C, 3.5 arc-sec./pixel. |
| Processing: | Acquired via script with Maxim, reduced,
Debloomer, hot/cold pixel processing in Maxim, aligned, combined then
minimum combine in Mira, RGB combine in Maxim. LRGB, curves, levels,
etc. in
Photoshop. |
| Optical System: | FSQ-106 @ F/5, ST-8E USB NABG/CFW-8A CCD
camera, guided by eFinder/STV, Paramount ME mount. |
| Comments: | Two complete sets of exposures were taken with
the camera rotated 90° between sets. FocusMax was
used to refocus the camera automatically after a filter change as part of
the script. 16 darks, 32 bias and 7 flats were taken. After frame normalization, each color sum was aligned and
minimum combined. This eliminated all vertical star diffraction
artifacts but left the reflection of the CCD chip that to come off the chip
cover glass.
