Flat Field Application Note (2/26/2005): This application note discusses the issues surrounding flat field acquisition and how it can be done easily with CCDAutoPilot
Meridian Flip Application Note (5/11/2005): This application note discusses the issues in flipping the meridian with a German equatorial mount in general and as it applied to CCDAutoPilot in particular.
Data Acquisition: There are many documents on my web site to help you determine your sub-exposure duration, the number of darks you might need or indeed if you need darks(!), and setting your camera temperature. There are even documents on dithering and enhanced dithering, as implemented in CCDAutoPilot. Don't let the math scare you off. Scan the documents and in many cases, some real world calculations are included as well as a handy Excel spreadsheet to do the calculations for you.
